Managing Director

Bruce is a Professional Member the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a Chartered Building Surveyor who was educated and gained his professional qualification in the United Kingdom.

He set up his own Building Surveying Consultancy (Bruce James Building Surveyors Pte Ltd (BJBS)) in Singapore and holds the position of Managing Director. He has some ten years working experience within the Singapore Construction and Real Estate sectors.

Prior to the establishment of BJBS, Bruce was the Head of the Building Surveying Department at Murray-North (SEA) Pte Ltd and worked within their Singapore office for five years.

Bruce has been involved in Building Surveying consultation since 1987 and has experience in a wide range of building projects within the residential, commercial and industrial real estate sectors.

Projects include refurbishments, redevelopments and extensive works involving defect diagnosis and expert witness advise on defect rectification works including implementation of maintenance programmes to all major sectors of the real estate premises.

Bruce also sits on the RICS panel for the Assessment of Professional Competence for Building Surveyors in Singapore.
